It's amazing how whole skyscrapers here in Hong Kong are built using bamboo scaffolding. There is construction being built everywhere you look, so it's not uncommon to walk underneath bamboo scaffolding as you walk on the sidewalk.
Picture men miles above ground, with no security belts to support them should they fall, building these scaffolds. I've watched as the men wrap one leg tightly around the bamboo as they tie straps around the posts to secure the scaffold. It is it's own circus act to watch these men at work up on the bamboo scaffolding.
